Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I am trying harder to make sure all important parts are in the view finder before firing the shutter. However, animals move so fast so its a wee bit difficult for me. Now this is a great picture except for his one foot cut off. Is this a big deal? I shot this in RAW.

Yes, you don't want any parts cut off like that. Also, looks like you missed the focus. Looks like it is on the subject to the left.

Nah, I'd crop it down more even. I cropped to a 4:5 (8x10 frame) ratio and didn't really like the framing so I shrunk it a bit and let the sides go black. Then I messed with the RGB curves.

Just playing with the photo I guess, but no - I don't think it's ruined. It's pretty nice, especially for a cat photo.

Looks good... and thanks!

And Rainking - I can see what you are saying, but actually the focus point is on his right whisker cheek (i think thats called a cheek on a cat...) but anyway, the part right under his nose where his whiskers grow anyway.

Focus looked about right to me. The eyes are tack sharp. The originally posted photo looked a bit soft probably due to a resize without sharpening. I did a quick unsharp mask on my edit.

Beautiful photo!

Smile, your photo has been edited by Schwetty!

Ha, nice edit! I doubt anyone would notice unless you pointed it out.

It's good then if people don't notice it. :)

You could always go landscape, unless you wanted to keep more of the planter in the pic. Just another option.
