What is the difference in these two lens?

First one has the HSM motor for D40,D60,D3000,D5000 that need lens with built in motor. Second one does not and is for D80 on up models that already have a motor in camera body.

So, no image quality difference?

I'd recommend the HSM one - it's aspherical, will probably focus faster and will have a closer focusing distance. I have the 18-50 version and it's sharp as a tack.
