I can see where you are going eith this but I think the execution needs a little more refinement. You have a purple halo around the bird that would need to be removed.
I would play with it some more as I actually like the direction your going with it.

thanks ... just trying to make a flying rat more attractive than what they are, not many pigeons are liked here ... yes I think the purple is a bit much... will continue updating the bird....
