The Ark Encounter

Wife and I have talked about going to the Ark Encounter, at Williamstown, KY since they opened last year. Glad we went, but now that we have, probably won't again.

The outside was actually very impressive.

I've heard the Creation Museum, just south of Cincinnati is maybe a little better. We didn't have time to go, so will have to catch it another time.

The first look at the outside is really impressive. Once you get inside you feel the cavernous expanse of the decks, not the cramped confines you might expect. Some of the exhibts/displays were really interesting, some a little cheesy. One of the more interesting exhibits for me was the discussion of the different ark stories by culture

Our Church did a field trip there this summer. I didn't attend but didn't hear any reviews either. Made me ponder if it was worth the trip or not. Looks pretty commercialized but cool.

You must have heard about the food court with "Ham's burger", and "Shem's dogs". LOL I realize that divine dollars didn't build this monster, and that despite the christian theme it is a commercial venture. As I said earlier, I'm glad we went.
