Pantiles, stone, brick, wood, glass and iron make up this section of an old Lincolnshire barn. Quite a contrast to the corrugated steel structures of today.

Nice find! Lots of great textures in this shot. It gives off a real sense of solidity, yet abandonment, and quietly waiting.

Oh yes texture! The other thing that grabs my eyes with this is the patchwork quality of the colors. Very nice. :)

Thanks Antarctican & Tangerini. I've passed this barn a number of times, but never seen the shot in that I wanted. But then, the other day I did. I was pleased to get so many textures into the shot.

Thanks Chiller & Clee27. It's a shot I'll probably re-take at a different time of day, maybe with some slanting sunlight emphasising the surface of the wall.
