The Bruce Nuclear Station and Lake Huron Take Two

This is the Bruce Nuclear Station, I've never seen it from this vantage point and it looks quite innocuous, when you see it from overhead it is very expansive!
The second is a wider angle of another shot I posted earlier edited differently (thanks for the help Ysarex !)
I wish there was more "light" in the darker areas perhaps, am I too close to muddy? They seem like they are both on the edge of "popping" but not quite there to me...
Would love to hear your thoughts, thanks for taking a look!

Have you seen it from a plane? This shot doesn't do much for the power station. Maybe closer.

I like the little strip of yellow sky in your second picture, especially since the rest of the image has so little colour to it.

Hey Designer, yeah as I said in the OP this view of it is quite innocuous. I've seen many aerial shots of the site, Mr. Rabbit works there so all the literature they send home has those kinds of shots in it. I wasn't really there to see the site but rather to find the Bald Eagles (found 7, yay! but they were too far away, boo!) I just took some landscape/waterscape shots while we looked

I like the minimalistic composition of the second. It'll probably look very good with a long exposure.

#2 for me. Makes a very cool abstract, would love to see it hanging LARGE on a pale blue wall.

Thanks Irfan, I agree on the long exposure, the day we were there was a pretty calm day but on a windy day with a long exposure of the snow blowing and drifting....

Nice Rob! I totally agree that this needs to be large. I actually hesitated posting any from this outing because they lose so much at 1000 on the long side, the larger versions have sooo much more detail in them.
