Well, the Camellias, both inside and outside are finally in full bloom.

I had jury duty yesterday, and for a change wasn't even picked to be interviewed for either jury. I had changed my work schedule to be off for jury duty today as well, so it became a real day off. I headed out to the Arboretum to catch their spectacular color show.

In one of the smaller side rooms I found this very small type of plant growing on a piece of wood.

Thank you for your kind words. Same here, it's been almost early spring like. Unfortunately, old man winter has just made a rare appearance. We're expecting 4-6 inches of the white stuff, over night with freezing rain mixed in. Should make for a fun trip home in the morning as I'm doing the over night shift in my store.

#1 is beautiful. Maybe just a touch of sharpening tighter crop and a touch of contrast.

#2 same as above (aside from the crop)

#3 I think the focus fell on the edges of the leaves rather then the flower

#4 oversaturated

#5 I couldn't see what the point of it was until I read the description. Maybe try a more level angle to emphasize the unique growth from the wood.
