The Chain Gang ~ Wee pup "MILES" at 11 weeks old, takes his position on the stake out chain with some of the older retrievers at my retriever club group training day held yesterday. Staking dogs out assures their safety whilst on the training grounds, lets them relax out in the fresh air, and instills patience in the trainees whilst they wait their turn to be put through the paces during field exercises. MILES was out of a breeding conducted by my friend Tom, the current owner of this beautiful young pup.
