We've had a fun few days at the Lake with friends. 2 days of nothing but eating, and catching up. Diet begins anew today

It's a wonderful 29C here in Texas, with blue skies and... well... air quality alerts due to ozone issues. I have a luncheon I'm expected to attend, or I'd be out with my camera on a nice long walk right now. For the afternoon, mowing the lawn and trimming shrubs. May try to get one of my sons to help me unhang a door so that I can replace weather stripping on the bottom.Chilly in Maine though it was in the 70s one day. Light rain on and off. We decided against this particular house, so we’re still looking at listings. We’ll be home sometime today.
Exciting! Very good film choices, too. As long as the Yashica Mat is cleaned up and ready, I predict you'll be pleased with what it gives you.In other news I ordered some B&W, 120 Ilford HP5 Plus 400, should be here midweek. The Yashica Mat LM is ready to test a roll. Depending on the outcome, I'll either recover with new leatherette and make it pretty, or put it on the shelf for wall decoration.
Go for fake fur--preferably an endangered animal print. Strap to match!
Meanwhile, the Victoria Day fireworks barrage is just beginning.
Python. Florida will probably let you have a real one.Haven't decided for sure yet, leaning toward something like thisView attachment 275349
Nice clean water in it, people swim there at all?Had a good day, weather was nice...about mid 70s I'd say. Went on a little hike with my dad late morning at an old granite quarry site. Of course I brought my film camera. It was pretty nice! Walking between the granite was surprisingly chilly.

Seen a horrible thing today going out mushrooming.
The 4 wheel drive infront of me hit a wallaby and the a-hole of a driver didn't even stop to check up on it.
I did though, the wallaby hopped across the road as i pulled over and i thought my day was ruined having to help this creature with a run to the vets.
I found him in the tall grass and he bounded away across the road again into the bush, he looked really sore on the left leg but he was hopping so i guess thats a good thing hey?
