Coffee is horrible stuff yuk, i love a good tea though.

I just hope she gets to go back home. They should've known by putting her on youtube it was going to attract attention eventually, they really needed to get a wildlife permit right at the start if they were going to keep her and keep it to themselves till they did.

Still it's a big dog, that would always be in the back of my mind of her getting crushed accidentally. Hmm.

I had reason to look back on old files. I have wondered about age limits of SSDs. I have recently found that I had lost data on old memory sticks, but that is a different technology. But looking at old SSDs, back to 2021 and guess what? A lot is gone or unaccessible. I'll have to see what I can do tomorrow.

But looking at old SSDs, back to 2021 and guess what? A lot is gone or unaccessible. I'll have to see what I can do tomorrow.

I just learnt the other week that "Solid State Drives" need to always have a charge to them or they go on the blink and they lose there memory i was told. Im not a techie so i dont know when they lose there charge that the memory/files can be recovered.

After learning this yeah im not going to use/buy one.

Yes, we are near the New Madrid fault in Illinois. The 2.8 quake was about 30 miles away.

Over the last couple of days we had power failure(s) which affected hospital surgeries. I looked out over the city and saw about half the city blacked out (including me). Looking north, there seemed to be some power north of Eglinton Avenue (which is roughly the half way mark across the city). But everything south was black, and I think it covered down to the lakefront.

Hmm i really shouldn't take for granted other peoples information, i thought it was like weeks or days without a charge in them.

I just asked google if ssd's need power to retain data. Seems they can go 2 to 5 years without a charge, well im a lot more educated now.
