Was walking around today with the kids and wife, and decided a series of the doors to some of the houses an locations around Panama's Old Quarter would be a nice subject. All photos were taken with a Sony SLT-A77V with the Zeiss 16-80mm lens. All shots were handheld (I missed using the tripod, but it's hard to take your time setting up when running after a 3 and a 5 year old!). I am not sure this is the right forum, but I figured it was the closes fit! By the way, I made the photos themselves a link to the Flickr file...

Anyway, please let me know your thoughts on the series...

#5 is my favorite. Simple, unique, and looks like it has a lot of history. It makes the viewer wonder what's inside.
I Can't get past the piece of trash on the street in #7. The yellow curb really draws the eye away from the subject in multiple pics, so maybe crop that out.

I agree on #5; I did not even notice the thrash until my wife pointed it out when we got home, but now it is all I see! As for the yellow, I was thinking more about dulling than cutting it; I feel the brick road actually ads to the images...

I like 2 and 5. Nice choice in theme. I do however wish all the photos were centered and shot straight on.

5 stands out.

I don't think most pictures of doors tend to work out that well... I always want them to, but they mostly seem meh. 5 is great, though.
