The end of a long, wet day! - C+C please

Coming back from a photo field trip with some friends, I ran into a bunch of field workers ending their labors. It was raining (you can see some of the rain in the pic), but I decided to whip out my camera and snap some shots. Let me know what you think!

I think it's an interesting shot. The first think I think of is The Sower by Van Gogh, I like images that remind me of paintings. I like the colors and the angles. I think cropping it in a little tighter so there isn't so much empty space above the man's head would make it have more of an impact. Keep up the good work!

I wanted to keep the head of the man at the intersection of the thirds... Plus, it allows for a nice shot of the field, which gives it a sense of where the man is coming from. But let me understand better your critique: you would crop to remove some off the top (and the right to keep the aspect ratio)?
