He is a local farmer who makes extra money by carrying people and goods across the river. He ferried us, one by one, across the river on this loose bamboo raft for about $1.

He looks like he's had a hardworking life. I wish I could see this all at once. Maybe it's my settings but even on my large monitor, I can't view this fully without scrolling.

SquarePeg - If you're using windoze, try zooming out (ctrl minus) - the image gets smaller but you can get it to fit the monitor height. Some of the Dell monitors will pivot 90 degrees and windoze can be set to work in portrait orientation. I'm not sure about Mac - it's been a while since I used one.

Nice shot. I agree with post #2. I thought there was a max 'longest side' rule for photos on here 1000, or 1200 pixels?

like this shot the color actually through me off a sec i wondered why heavy on the brown thought maybe he put a colorized layer on it but it does seem to work. NOt so much warm just heavy on the brown.
