As a veteran, I can't help but say GREAT SHOT and thank the lad for his service to his country. We all owe him a debt of gratitude.. Semper Fi!!!

It does look Photoshopped, but it is a good photoshop, and that's all that matters.. I have a very hard time critiquing patriotism. The picture looks good, and it portrays a patriotic mood. We need more of that.

yes, the pp makes him look photoshopped on the sky.
and about the composition, i guess it could have been inverted for better result, as you wouldn't have had to reverse the flag...?
about the patriotic feel... well, i know nothing about patriotism, so i can't really tell...!
