Nice shot - you lose points for a winter shot after the winter that never seemed to end (in US).
It's summer, but I'm still traumatized.

Haha sorry, here it's so hot looking at winter pictures makes me cooler by a few degrees

I like the picture, nice use of short lenses. I don't like the "7 exposure composite", that falls for me into digital graphics category. But that's me. As one of my local little enemies said: I am "behind". But seriously, shoot film and you will need only one exposure. .
In this picture the snow looks lacking a bit of texture, but than again it was a dull day.

Actually I agree with you. The 7 exposure stuff was actually just a game, I did several bracketing tests and while having a whole range of different exposures, I thought "why not?". I liked the result, I kept it this way. However because of the light at that time, the HDR processing helps a lot to keep the depth of the forest well exposed.

The snow was actually pretty bland.
