First close up. Holly birdy!

Gorgeous shots!

Yes for the most part, seems they disappear for a good few months and then come back again.

Do you do anything to attract them like putting out seed/fruit?

We have parrots here but I have yet to figure out a way to attract them. They seem to only feed in the tops of trees.

Nice ones.
Cheers slat🤘.

G'day there what species of parrots do you have there? A wild gain mix would be a good start and some fruit, if you can put a pole in the ground it might entice them to come down for a look.

Yeah i got my bird feeder and a couple of baths for all the feathered creatures. It started with this, i was gifted the feeder after doing work on a fella's yard.

Painted it up put it on a pole, the cockys were the first customers.

In turn the cockys attracted the Galahs,

Then the Rainbow Lorikeets,

Then the King Parrots,

Unfortunately the cocky's ate the bird feeder, buggers love chewing on timber.

Remade the feeder into something more basic, less to chew on🤣. It's a relaxing litte spot for backyard camping with the bunnys 🤪.

I have yet to make a positive I.D. on the parrots here. Based on the illustrations in the field guide I have, they are either Yellow-lored parrots of White-lored parrots.

Those feeders look very nice and obviously work well for you. I have posts already in the ground to secure a sun-shade and could do something similar.
But I suspect I will mostly attract the Brown Jays that are very common in my area and they will simply clean out what ever I put there.

A beautiful backyard, by the way.
