Ok, last flower one from me for a bit. I need to put this macro lens down.

c/c welcome if desired. Thanks for looking.

BTW, if you'd like to see my other two...

It's been fun watching your flower discovery!! lol Kinda addicting? They're everywhere!!!

hehe... yes. My wife was like "uhhh... why did it take you over an hour to go to the dump?" And that was after I had forced myself to refrain from stopping at every flash of color.

Frankly, though, I'm kinda finding a lot of the flowers kinda meh. A lot of them just don't have what I'm trying to get. Some of the lilys are great, though. (lilly?)

I've figured out through my flower journey that not every flower is photogenic....lol Some flowers just have more personality than others.
Lilies have always been tough flowers for me. They just don't fit my style.

I was half expecting and fully hoping something entirely different with the thread title. You know, with "The Girls" it conjured up something completely different, especially after seeing the thread from that young New Zealand girl. It must have been moved to the NSFW gallery. Now those were "The Girls". :biglaugh:

For flowers, you did pretty good though.

You are growing keeping proportions; please postpone your next visit to cemetery... much work is here

This made me laugh out loud! "please postpone your next visit to cemetery..." That's just awesome!

I do like your florals. Those macro lens ARE addicting. Once I picked mine up, I find I have to force myself to switch lenses and do something else for a while.

Still, perhaps you could make another cemetery visit AND still do a floral from time to time...or move on to insects! ;)

Oh, and Frequency--perhaps he could combine the two. I recently did one I particularly liked that was some daffodils blooming in late winter in the background, with an infant's grave in the foreground. It just spoke to me of life and death.
But all that was before I had a macro lens...

hahaha... thanks, Freq. :)

Yeah, that makes sense. Cemetery Angels are the very same way. I suppose everything is like this.

BTW, saw your "perfect storm" pic... holy cow. Beautiful. Cloud is right. I'm no Mish. :)

Thanks! :)

hahaha... thanks. I was sticking with the feminine theme for my flower pics. Didn't mean to throw you off.

God no. No insects. Not ever. Besides, Overread would probably die of shock. :)

Flowers and the cemetery might be interesting, though. Who knows. I strongly suspect I'll get bored of the flower thing and move on in pretty short order. They're super pretty, of course, but when it gets right down to it, they're not my core thing. :)

Thanks for all the comments, everyone! :)
