I guess no one on here is interested in history.

Yeah sure, but that history is a can of worms. And it is hard to figure which of the worms are true and which are tall tails. Without the story that is not much of a place and has always seemed anticlimactic in to me in photographs.

Good points. I thought maybe it would invoke discussion on the topic. Your are correct in that the pictures really don't have much appeal as they are mostly just pictures of a place.
I like your analogy on history with the can of worms approach.
