A smaller f-stop would have gotten the nose in focus too, likely. Hard to tell what you used as you did not record the exif info.
colors are great and the eye is nice and sharp otherwise! The dark background really accentuate the colors and the sleek shape. Nice and black.

Thanks! Nope, I'm using extension tubes so my Dof is extremely small :/
