The more I convert to black and white the more I like it. Any helpful tips on editing black and white photos would be highly appreciated. I know there is more to just desaturating or hitting the black and white conversion button. I use level and curves to tweak it, but if any one does something different please share. Thank you and C&C welcomed.

I have a favorite black and white conversion I use so all my b/w's are similar. It is a preset from totally rad. I love it. Or I use Nik software Silver Efex. I like the default. Great shot.

On BW:
LR has number of default filters along with additional that I purchased.
Kevin Kubota, in his action pack, had one that is my go-to for average BW.
Nik's has a series.

On the image above, I'd add a little fill light (w/ curves) under his eyes.
