Background is a bit busy, but I take that for "context" in this case, though I still don't quite understand what his kingdom really is? He more looks like the house and garden keeper to me, working FOR "the king". Am I all wrong?

Thank you...."A man's home is his castle", I saw this old man working around his home cleaning, digging and working during the heat of the day... well worth respect I gave him....
