Post #2. This was taken on another business trip to Shreveport Louisiana (LA). We were on Cross Lake that actually spans LA and TX. Please let me know your thoughts.

I have to ask what is the focal point? My eye keeps being drawn to an uninteresting nondescript post in the foreground, but I'm assuming that was unintentional.

Fyi the cone flower in another post is a little freaky. Definitely wouldn't want to look at it after a few adult beverages.

The focal point is the cypress grove. I guess I’m confused by the question.

While a tree line can be a focal point, it needs other elements to compliment it or it becomes just trees. Maybe this will help, Why you Must Have a Focal Point in Your Images
