I think its rather interesting. Is that one of those people mover conveyor belt thingy's inside an airport?

It's actually not, but close. It's the underground tunnel connecting the East and West buildings of the National Gallery of Art. The actual walk path is to the left in the shot, this is just the side railing which is purely decorative, and has these light play thingies on it.

There is a similar one of these at DFW International. I figured you had set the camera down on the black rubber handrail or something.
