Came up with the idea while thinking about different ways to light paint stuff. Lemme know what you guys think. Single exposure, btw.

Seems a bit under exposed to me, and I personally don't like the light coming from below. I understand it could have been artistic choice to light the shot from below, but I feel that it does not sculpt the face in a very flattering way.

Had he gone with a Yin Yang thing by lighting the right image brighter and from above, I could abide, but otherwise I agree with Dan.

Honestly, I did this with an old Kako flash in my hand. Didn't really have high expectations-it's not flattering, it's just goofy. Probably should have put this in the just for fun section. I'm still working on actual portraits, but this wasn't meant to be one. Basically, I was testing an idea (using a flash in light painting) and was hoping someone would have a laugh in the process. Still working on actual portraits when I get a chance (rarely-need to work with another person, as I find working with myself limiting), and the advice I've been given here has been massively helpful, though.
