The 800mm HAS to be tripod mounted Raj, you can't hold it. That's one thing you will miss from the SX50 IS Raj, that focal reach.

You call that a lens? It's the size of a kitchen! :meh: I knew 800 mm would be large, but this large? I had no idea! I bet even Arnold Schwarzenegger can't handhold that lens. Do you use a crane to move it around?

Really thanks for the link Danny, those are some great shots and he's definitely much better using it than I am. Bookmarked it, and going to study his pics. I'll learn a lot from this.
