The Moon...

I also think the time I shot this was about 9 pm. I met my wife at the train station and took her to dinner and on the way home we were walking and looking at how pretty the moon was. It was an unusually clear night sky in China as well. You also need to understand that here in China, we are 14-17 hours ahead of America, so I doubt the times will match.

That's why I was asking which portion of the sky rather than the time.
Kirk shot his from Florida here in the States and it looked to be just like your orientation, with Tycho at the 3 o'clock position.
My most recent moon photo was on 27 January, not long after moon rise.
The moon was about 30º above the horizon to the east.
Tycho was about the 4 o'clock position.

All this talk about rotation and positions shouldn't cause us to lose sight of what an outstanding image you have achieved!
