My lovely wife gave me two "30-minute, *****-free photo sessions" for Valentine's Day. I cashed the first one in tonight. It's so much easier to work with humans that stand still, and ones that allow me to look through the lens.

This was one of my favorites...I know the crop isn't for everyone. I could easily do a portrait crop, but I like the feel of this for whatever reason.

Yonguo 685 through a 38" octobox, a bare Neewer VK750 on the back drop, and a 43" reflector. I need to iron the back drop. Meh.

Your retouching is flawless on her skin. There are a couple of stray hairs and a speck along the hairline that I would remove though. Great work regardless.

I agree! It was really thoughtful of her. She is starting to turn the corner on the morning sickness. She's been taking some meds but they really knock her out. We finished by 7:45 last night, and she was in bed by 8:15. She didn't take them this morning and is going to see how she feels.

Lucky in a couple areas there...I really don't know much about retouching, so I used a really soft brush with the skin softening preset in LR in a couple of places, and used the same brush to dodge a few areas. If the skin looks good, that's my wife taking really good care of herself! Thanks for the feedback!

If I were you I'd keep her locked up (maybe hide all her shoes?). With a touch (just a touch) of make-up she'd easily grace magazine covers. I'll message you with an example of what I mean.

It's a fair question. I definitely out-kicked my coverage, as they say. I play guitar, I cook, and I'm extremely persistent. All three were crucial, haha.
