Nicely done! I might try a little more tweaking of highlight & shadow levels; her face and hair seem just a bit "flashed". I might also consider cropping just below the bottom of the book. IMO, the OOF feet & legs add a bit of an odd and disproportionate element to the image. I'm also not overly fussed about the chair image left; I think moving a bit more to your left and having all Christmas tree as the background would have worked well, but regardless, a very nice image.

You know as Forrest says, a special moment "is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're gonna get". I agree with everything Tirediron said above, but if it were my special little one the only thing I'd notice is that precious face!

@tirediron Thanks! Heres a reinterpretation, I cropped and pulled down the highlights and the whites even more than they were already.
