The obligatory night shot with my new XT

This is my first night shot with my new cam. C&C most welcome. This was just a quick test shot while at work. The star in the top of the pic bothers me. It is too bright.

it's nice. If you want the star gone...just clone it out using photoshop.

i think the sign in the middle takes a great deal away from this. it's not blurry enough to be surely insignificant, but not clear enough to be surely important

How can I get the pic to be clearer?
It was a fine medium JPG, ISO 100, 10second shutter, and av 5.0. This was on full manual. I also sharpened it in gimp.
