I like the composition, but the highlights are a bit strong in my novice opinion.

The old horizon is about 20-25% off kilter (counter clockwise) and the mountain cuts through her head which is not an optimal composition and lastly, you are over-sharpening your images in post (see the halos around the leaves on the trees) which also serves to amplify the grain you say "will always show so don't bring it up," aspect. For me, I wish she would have turned around, but that's just the voyeur in me.
