It can't hurt I guess. There was an incident a couple of years back where a young bloke lost the sight in one eye due to being struck by a magpie.

I was thinking that waving a 12 ga. would work best, lol! Just kidding but a badminton racket actually did come to mind. I bet an umbrella would work and would help to keep a person cooler under the sun also. Just a guess, I could be wrong.

Wow, in other words, if a burglar tried to break into your house today you might get your 12 ga. the same day next year before he leaves your house.
