It can't hurt I guess. There was an incident a couple of years back where a young bloke lost the sight in one eye due to being struck by a magpie.I've never dressed my adolescent billy goats (kids) in wide brim hats and sunglasses before. Does that help?
Sort of. You hear the sound of the wings through the air first. The horror, the horror lol. Just waving a stick over your head usually works .Do magpies attack ala Hitchcock style? Hope there are phone booths nearby.

In Australia by the time I got a license, if at all, for a 12 gauge it would be next Magpie season [emoji3]Sort of. You hear the sound of the wings through the air first. The horror, the horror lol. I was thinking that waving a 12 ga. would work best, lol! Just kidding but a badminton racket actually did come to mind. I bet an umbrella would work and would help to keep a person cooler under the sun also. Just a guess, I could be wrong.
Wow, in other words, if a burglar tried to break into your house today you might get your 12 ga. the same day next year before he leaves your house. It's nice to know someone cares about the good, law abiding citizens. In Australia by the time I got a license, if at all, for a 12 gauge it would be next Magpie season [emoji3]Sort of.
