The mocking bird ... the worlds biggest little pest. I just caught the tail end of the commotion or you would see more of the mockingbird. You can just see the bottom of his tail feathers in the upper left of the 2nd pic. The red-shouldered hawk did his best to fend him off but he couldn't take the onslaught anymore and suddenly flew away. (@ f/6.3, 1/500th, ISO 100)

Great set.

Love the pose of the first one. Without the context of the Mocking bird, the hawk almost seems to be enjoying a nice sunny day.

Thanks, I liked that one, too and I'm pretty sure he WAS enjoying the day until the *hole of all birds came along. I like them all, though.
