Ok, WoW, thanks everybody!
I didn't think this image would be so well received.
We are typically so hard on over exposure, but I guess it's ok if it creates a story.
@Ron, this is the last in the bracket series for making an HDR image, so you can decide which you like better.
@Trevor, that was my thought, the juxtaposed uber bright right side would play to the darker left.
@Derrel, what kind of beer?
@Miss Cream. No, La-Z-Boy and the iPad!
@AnimalHunter, No story really. I have photographed this chair before, and I wanted a second shot a it. It's at the Mansfield Reformatory, which has been used for several movies, including Shawshank Redemption. Photo club got another 4 hour, free run of the place, which is always awesome! If you want to see more that I got from this place there are 3 or 4 threads in the General Gallery.
@Drex and Ron wanting a body in the chair. Can totally see that. I do like the current image being more open to interpretation though. Another suggestion, was to rock the chair to get some motion blur. It's cool to see at what time people place this during the rapture. Is it coming, is it going? My interpretation? The rapture is coming, and it's coming for the chair. The chair lived a good life and served well. It's time for it to rest.
@Formatted, yes, the highlights are blown to high heaven.
You didn't use comic sans, so I assume you are serious.
@Matt, funny you say you want the chair sharper. I am debating making it softer, and blowing a little more detail from the walls.
Thanks again! I'll go back to posting in the less visited General Gallery.
