No longer a newbie, moving up!
I'm wanting a MB-D10 for my D700. I inadvertently pressed the 'add to cart' button for the MB-D11 instead. Without checking if I had made the correct purchase I went to checkout and paid for my order.
A week later I received the notice that my package was waiting at the Purolator depot, which is 70 miles away. Today I picked up my package and in a state of pleasant anticipation rushed home to try out my new toy. That is when I discovered my error.
I now either have to send this back and order the correct item, which will likely take 2 - 3 weeks total, or order a D7000 to attach to my newly acquired MB-D11. Naturally I'd have to include an MB-D10 in the order.
Hmm, interesting choices. (I wonder how I might formulate a convincing argument in favor of the D7000 that would fly with 'the minister of finance'.)
