When I took this picture I had the camera on shutter priority, it was late in the day so I know I adjusted for the twilight, but I can't remember how much. I think I had ISO on auto and I used the camera's built-in BW function. The photo has not been altered in anyway using photoshop.

That being said, I really like the dark mood this photo has, like something out of a horror novel.

But since I'm quite inexperienced taking photos I'd like to know if there is anything I could have done differently in taking the picture, or if there is something to be done with it in photoshop.

BTW, I have recently started a blog in which photography will be one of the main themes. At the moment it only contains two posts, but I plan on keeping a high rate of posting there. It might be of interest to some of you... (Link in my signature.)
