The old bridge is still standing though it's seen some better days. Built in 1895 it holds the reputation of the "smallest in the state". Featured in Susan Hayworth's movie, "I'd Climb the Highest Mountain." C&C welcome as always.

The first shot of the bridge, it's had to see but the white sign on the front says "Video surveillance in place vandals will be prosecuted". Apparently not very aggressively as you'll see further down.

Inside I don't think there's a square inch of surface not covered with graffiti. A few of the better ones

Love the covered bridge; a shame about the graffiti. I would dearly love to meet some of the little "artists" responsible for that and have my friend's doberman explain to them why that was naughty! :irked:
 
If you look closely you can see graffiti on top of graffiti that goes back many, many years. I supposed it could be restored but then the wood would not have the same patina. While I'm disgusted at the desecration i was also fascinated by the art, and professions of love over the years.
