So we were hanging out in the game room, and i had my camera, an this is the result of that impromptu shoot. The lighting is just from the window, and the shot was processed in LR3 and PS CS5.

The shot is uncomfortable for me. The girls face is just too close to the left side of the shot. It gives the feeling that she is staring at a wall.

Hmm, i intentionally cropped out the window as i thought it would be a distraction. Dangit!

I'd clean the face up a little bit myself, nobody wants to remember when they had acne.

This was an impromptu shoot; i wanted to leave this shot as original as possible. So, no skin smoothing.

with the close crop and the profile, it sort of looks like a mugshot. i'd love to see the shot with the window in it, and if you had the opportunity to recreate such a shot, doing it from a softer angle.

also, if you showed the window, the light on her face would make more sense. in this version, with the close cropping, the lighting doesn't look bad, but it looks more studio, IMO.

i'd love to see a re-edit!
