The Tree Specialist

Put your camera on a tripod and take several shots with different shutter speeds and stack them in PS mask your best bits out... Like Ron said still water looks like plastic with slow shutters but running water can look really alive...

#1 is kinda humorous... like the trees finally had their way with Aaron.

#2... there really isn't any 'grab' to it. I experienced this (again) on a recent trip. Being there is a great experience, we can hear, smell, feel, touch... but those things unfortunately don't transfer. So taking a shot of a quaint water trickle isn't enough. I'm noticing that waterfall shots, no matter what size, aren't really about the waterfall itself, but about the place, the colors, or perhaps even the shape of the flow.
