Exploring the [VERY] back roads of Chennai, India I came across a "garage" where they repaired tuk-tuks that had been involved in accidents; a 'tuk-tuk bodyshop if you will...' I don't think I've ridden in one since!

I used the unseen driver A.K.A. Mr. Tuk-tuk the entire time I was there and he was a very nice guy.
While there were some exciting moments, it was NOTHING like renting a car and driving around Sosua, Dominican Republic. Then there was the time I got on the back of a scooter-taxi in Mandalay, Myanmar with a driver who was 1/2 my size...

And here is Mr. Tuk-tuk buying gasoline. Old liquor bottles were a very common way to measure and dispense fuel.
If you noticed the gloves, he would soak them in water to help keep his hands cool.
