Pelicans are never here, they only come by when they coming through, so you only have a day or two before they are gone.
I would have killed for a 600mm lens out there! There would have been some really great shots if I had a better range.
One of these days I want to get a old 500-600mm mirror lens, just to play with.

Nice! I used to live near a marsh Where they nest in Saskatchewan but I wasn't into birdography then and don't have a single shot.
