There's a storm brewing

I managed to capture these just before we got hit with a huge storm. Big wind, lots of rain, and some hail.

I cropped into the cloud shot a little on the second one, but I can't decide which crop I like better. It's cool to see that spinning area above the clouds, but I also like feeling closer to the action on the second crop.

I overexposed the lightning shot a little bit, but I was able to bring it back a little in Lightroom. It's my first try at getting lightning photos, but I'm going to have lots of chanced this year at more lightning photos, so I'm looking forward to trying some other methods.

Yeah it was pretty crazy! The power lines actually were fine afterward. They have been just a little bit leaned for a while but they seem solid where they are at. Thankfully they weathered the storm!
