But the light was there, the lens perfect for the shot...but sometimes you just get too close...anyway, a good and dear old friend. And yes, I deliberately went high contrast...just because.

Don't post at 11 pm, people are sleeping. Or busy with something better, than photography.
For the picture it is one harsh portrait. Maybe it characterize your friend just fine, you know that better.

Quite nice! Yeah it's different, not exactly conventional shot but works quite well IMO. Don't like the border though. Those digital borders always seemed kinda tacky to me
