Very nice. I like #2 the best of the bunch. Curious what the bird is in #3 and 4. Roadrunner? Whatever it is, it is one I have never seen before, so it might help if you could post the names of these critters. The last guy looks pretty formidable as well and is probably not the kind of spider I would ever see in my part of the Great White North. How big is that thing anyway?

Thank you Western. I get lazy sometimes :(
3 and 4 are a Greater Roadrunner -beep beep. 5 is a Black Phoebe. 2 is Allen's Hummingbird and 7 is a Savannah Sparrow (I believe). 6 is a female Yellow Garden Spider.

I for one, am very glad that #6 can't fly ................... not much of a spider fan.
Great shots, even that thankfully non-flying spider.

That roadrunner has had his feathers ruffled!! All nice images, love the color and clarity in #1, #2 is clear and crisp with creamy bokeh, and #7 is just overall outstanding!

I would REALLY like to swap my Sig 150-500 for that Tammy. Soon, maybe. But first is the 16-35 and some ND filters!

I think you should have gotten closer to the spider. lol

The Allen's is my fav.

Thanks for the IDs. They are appreciated.

Really love the first one, and the road runner close up. You're really making some good pictures out of that tamzooka.. :)

Thanks again everyone :)

Snerd, if you traded for the Tamster, you would then want to trade for the newer Sigma. It's maddening.

Gary - my wife kept saying I was getting to close. It was creeping her out.
Have to admit I was a bit lazy. Probably should have gotten the tripod out and the triggers and the flash and gotten down on the ground and................
