this foreground with this background?

hey guys, i have just been experimenting ith photoshop so i can put it in my college research and this is what i did (from seeing it in digital photography magazine)
the first 2 photos r the original and the last is the PS'd photo. what do you think?

Looks convincing, well done! My mind tells me that there would be slightly more brightness (5%?) in the foreground mountain, but that might cause problems.
