This hole is RIDICULOUS!

Thanks guys! :D It's supposed to rain for the next few days, so the links will keep me from going stir crazy.

Watch out for those tornados. Take pictures.

Death by tornado can't be such a bad way to go... imagine all the countryside I'll get to see.

Now that would be some interesting angles.

I agree that there isn't a whole lot of need to seriously critique this image. An emotionally moving image hides a LOT of flaws. Emotionless images must be perfect. Take more pictures of her if she is amiable to it. My granny is 87 and, has to verify who I am every so often. My beard scares her, but if I hide it all in my hand she's ok for a while. I don't think she'll let me take pictures of her. So take pictures and cherish her!

I'm a little bummed that the obvious joke is so inappropriate in a granny thread. DAMN AND BLAST.

The aging process is so cruel. :( I stumbled onto a severely disoriented elderly woman driving home around 2AM a couple of nights ago... she was shambling/lunging forward with the kind of unaware intensity that dementia can cause. Before I could get the car stopped, she fell onto her face on someone's lawn. She could tell me her name but was very confused and having serious spatial problems. Thankfully our local PD is speedy as anything and managed to get her checked out and home to her family quickly. Give your granny a kiss for me the first time you can. The elderly are precious.

The sad thing about my grandmother, is, she was pretty much a *****. We were never good enough. Ever. We were too fat, or too thin. Nothing we did was ever good enough. My mom actually went into therapy to deal with stuff dealing with her when I was in my late 20's. And now she has changed. This Christmas I sat with her for a long time, repeatedly answering the same questions over and over, patiently. And at one point she said she was tired, and leaned over, and put her head on my shoulder an fell asleep. As my eyes teared up, I thought, if only you were this sweet all your life...

Great storytelling piece guy. Good work.
