Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Ive created some "strip" for my model mayhem but they need to be low quality and less than a number of pixel.

I was just wondering how they would look posted on here.

here at a smaller size.

well, from the file i submitted, there is no size between 220 pixel (large) and the 800 from the orginial file, FAILED.

For regular display this site resizes your image, but you should see a yellow bar above saying "Click this bar to see full image". When I click on that for each entry I can see the difference. I think the automatic resizing actually helps you here as they display around the same size that your thumbnails will on MM, and that is actually what you want to be clear. In this case I don't think these four work well as a strip. Between the busy foregrounds/backgrounds and the color palette, the edges between adjacent images aren't obvious at a quick glance, which means as a viewer I can't easily compose "a shot" in my mind. I also have to ask if they were all originally portrait orientation or if the second was landscape orientation and forced into this crop to fit into the strip?

Now, as far as using a strip in general, I'm not a big fan. I'm on MM too, so I've seen plenty of them, very few of which I feel are worthy of being a strip. Generally on MM people use a strip to get around the limit on number of images their account allows them to display. If the images genuinely work together as a series - if they tell a story, or if they're different interpretations of a common theme - then go ahead and make them a strip. Otherwise you're better off picking the best of the bunch and displaying that as a standalone image. I've heard plenty of people say that there's really no need to include more than one photo from each shoot (okay, maybe per look if you do more than one look per shoot) in your portfolio and I agree with this. Your portfolio is supposed to be your best work, so if you include more than one shot from a shoot you're by definition including not the best shot from that session. Down selecting is hard, but it's better to show a smaller, higher quality group than a bigger group with some chaff. As has also been pointed out, though you look at your best shot and say "Look what I am capable of", a client is more likely to see your worst shot and say "Look what I could end up with". Of the four shots in this strip I have one clear favorite and would much rather see that one stand alone than grouped with the other three. (That's not the C&C you asked for here, so I'm not going to thrust unsolicited critique on you, but I'll gladly tell you if you want to know.)

(Disclaimer: Yes, I violate my own advice on my MM profile. That's due to the relative low number of shoots I've done; as I do more I am lowering my average number of shots from each shoot. Now I'll get off my soapbox...)
