To dogs that lick themselves too much.

After getting our dog Odie fixed last Tuesday, he not only came home with a raging case of kennel cough but a grossly infected incision site. Since he's a licking fool, he gets to wear a cone on his head for a week. Malachite and I decided to have a little fun at his expense.

It's a sad display really . He crashes into everything, then he gets completely discouraged and lays down. We have a good laugh at him everyday, he's a good sport about it. :hugs: to Odie.

Well, he's still running into stuff and running in circles trying to "out run" the cone to get a few licks in. Getting him into the truck in the morning to go to work with me is an adventure in itself. But that's not the funniest thing. He is SO orally fixated that he actually spends a fair amount of time licking the air. Yup - you heard it folks... licking the air. I've never seen such a pathetic (yet hysterical) thing in my whole life. :greenpbl:

My puppy get's snipped on friday too! yippe so he's gonna become a girl! I sooo hope he gets one of those coney things too. We could start a coned-doggy club.
