Of course after posting some shot of my previous quary shots on my facebook, my inbox filled up pretty quick. I think i am going to shoot at this place for the whole summer. jesus

i think it may have been a little better if the background were lit a little, at least the rocks towards the back

My main goal with the lightning on this one was to get that sky correctly exposed. I could add some light to the rock and trees in post but i don't feel like bringing any noise to the shot :)

Daaaaaamn cop a look at that- erm, water, yeah, water! Isn't it a strange color?!??

No, not a sexy pose dosn't work for me

Hey bro nice shot... Love the last session you posted. Was this with your Tamaron Lens? Hey can you tell me about your set up? Strobes, positioned, etc? Camera settings, blah blah blah and do you have any more pics of this shot.. love to see the front, lol

I used 2 vivitar 285HV right behind me, pretty much the same setup as the other shoot shot. I used the tamron 17-50 F2.8 at F8 31mm in this shot.

I like how the sky is clearly exposed it looks almost studio background. How did you determine how much light to use on the model to compensate for the background brightness?

I usually take a shot without the model, expose for background/sky then i put the model in the frame and set the flash power so the model is well exposed. Once i got everything setup, i usually go ahead and shoot a while at these settings and crank down the shutter speed a bit once in a while to keep the same lightning because at that time of the day the sun goes down pretty quick and lightning changes alots.

I still had to make a little exposure adjustement and color adjustement on the sky in post since it was a bit too bright for my taste..

the next thing im going to get is something like this.

this one might not be the best options since its kinda in the way of the viewfinder.

the sun is a *****

Its amazing... you take the hot girl away from the beach and toss her in some murky, standing quarry water and now the shot is on a whole new level. Good work. I enjoy your photos!

btw. her feet are really pink and wrinkly... would it look weird to do pp to them, since they're suppose to be like that? or am i the only one who found the feet distracting? probably. lol :D
