Thornton Pickard All Weather Camera

[IanG]

This camera uses modern Half plate or 7x5 DDS holders. I bought this in a job lot at a camera fair, and did not look at it at the time of purchase, everything else was worth may more than the total price.

So when I got home and had space to unpack the box, I had a surprise. I tried the focal plane shutter that evening, but it was sluggish and sticking, to my surprise when I tried it again the next day it was working perfectly, I guess it had just needed exercise.

Just needs a little TLC, a new lens board is nearly finished, then a lens in a focussing mount

There were 3 other cameras, and a lot more.
