What's new

thoughts on these :)

love the shot of banana on string.
not diggin the others.

what dont you like about the others?

the treatment in one doesnt add to it for me.
2 is a mediocre pic of a car...so im just not wowed by it.
and 3 is a bed with a selectively colored pillow. again, im just not floored.

but i do like the thought and effort behind the banana. well done.

edit:
i went back and looked again, and i think what it is, is that the 1st 3 dont evoke a single thought from me.
but the banana does. so i think youve really accomplished something there.

My thoughts as well...I dig 4 because it was the only one the made me do a "visual/mental double take". Nice!

thanks :)
I actually took about 7-8 different angles of the banana

thats a series. ;)

yeah it is ;)

thanks tim it was what I was going for
Why? What is your reasoning?

Well?

Don't be a troll.

And I like number 4 a lot. It has a very unique vintage art look. Almost along the lines of contemporary Warhol in the regards of the main subject being such a commodity, yet the image offers a whole different perspective to the usual. Take this comment with a grain of salt, you're no Warhol by any stretch, but even a comparison for critical sake is a great compliment.

i dont think bitter is being a troll.
historically, er1111111a seems to be much quicker to ask questions like "can you tell me why?" than he is to answer them. i think bitter is gently reminding mr. er111a that there's a question to him on the table. ;)

Warhol? You have got to be kidding, right?

sorry I didnt get right back to you Bittter right away, To tell you the truth when I was editing them that was just the looked that I wanted for that day, sort of my emotions for that day channeling into my pp

Did you take the shot off center and slightly crooked, or did you crop it that way?
What were you trying to ilicit from the viewer with that image?
